Registration:
Enduro's may be cancelled without adequate participation. Please register as soon as possible.

Due to the nature of Enduro scheduling a strict cancellation policy must be adhered to.

Cancellation Policy:
Full refund or credit if cancelled prior to 3 weeks before the event. No cancellations, refunds, or credits will be permitted for enduro entrants who cancel less than three weeks prior to the event. If an enduro entrant needs to cancel, he or she must do so by Friday midnight three weeks prior to the event. No credits or refunds will be offered after that time.

Enduro Supplement:

2009 Endurance Racing Supplemental Rules

1. Points will be awarded per the 2009 CCR. No point drops.

2. Cool suits and other driver cooling devices may not be serviced during refueling.

3. Penalties for all offenses other than pit stop related will be dealt with after the race. The goal of the Race Director is to not take away what cannot be returned.

4. All time type penalties will be assessed by subtracting laps.

5. Spilling fuel (whether on the ground or inside the vehicle) will result in a minimum of a 5-minute penalty, to be served before the conclusion of the race in the car’s pit location.


You should plan to follow the NASA Enduro rules very closely (particularly those associated with refueling) so please read them top to bottom. The NASA Enduro rules shall prevail and will be
superseded by event supplemental rules.

1.2 Matching Team uniforms are NOT required.

2.3 Car numbers will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. All entries are required to run the corresponding NASA Enduro Class Spec (E0, E1, E2.......ES) designation decals on both sides of the car. These must be clearly legible.

2.6 All drivers must possess a current valid NASA Competition license or Rookie Permit. Rookie racers are allowed. Questions can be directed to: Enduro E-mail

2.10 Pit spaces. Pit spaces will be determined on a first come, first serve basis with plenty of time given prior to the race to position support tools, fire extinguishers, fuel jugs, tents, etc.

2.11 There will be a mandatory driver's meeting with roll call. Failure to attend will disqualify entrants from participation.

3.2 All cars must pass NASA tech and display the designated tech decal for the event.

3.6 Headlights are not required

4.2 and 4.3 Car class specification. All entrants cars shall display the appropriate Enduro Class. Please contact Enduro E-mail for questions regarding class designation.

5.2 The race length may vary from event to event. See the particular event above for Enduro length. An Enduro may be shortened due to darkness and/or poor visibility.

5.3 An overall winner as well as finishing orders within each class will be determined at the end of the race.

5.4 The starting order shall be determined by pit lane position (the pit position closest to pit out shall assume the pole position) and this shall determine the starting order. Pit lane positions will be determined by first come first serve basis. The start shall be a flying start. All car types and speeds will be scattered throughout the flying start.

5.5 There will be a maximum speed in pit lane that shall not be exceeded. More details during the driver's meeting. If possible we will use a radar gun and to enforce pit lane speed limits. Crew, driver and NASA official safety in pit lane is paramount. Penalties will be enforced.

7 Safety. ALL SAFETY RULES PER THE NASA ENDURO RULES WILL BE FOLLOWED AND ENFORCED. Failure to comply will result in stop and go penalties or disqualification.

8.1 NASA officials will be spot checking pit spaces for the required pit safety equipment.

8.2.1 There will be no minimum time for pit stops

8.2.3 There shall be one minimum pit stop

Section 8 and 9 will be used as stated in the NASA Endurance Rules.

Registration:
SAVE $50 and Register before the Deadline!
On-line - Officially closes on the last Sunday night prior to the event at 10PM.
At Track - NASA Central. NASA Hours can be found on the event schedule.
Entry fee will increase by $50 after Sunday deadline. Questions - e-mail Registration.

Car Numbers at the Track:
Throw away the old shoe polish and blue tape, NASA will have vinyl numbers for sale at the track. Go to Drive Info to get your numbers. We will have basic 10" vinyl numbers in black and white only. Numbers are $3 each, 4 digits for $10, or 6 digits for $15. Registration will also have race course outlines of the track, provided by Rat Racing.

Tech Shops:
You are encouraged to get your pre-teched at an approved Tech Shop before the event. Follow this link for a list of Approved Tech Shops.
We will perform your tech at the track, but please plan to arrive early. All cars MUST be teched before going on track.

HPDE/TT Drivers:
TT will be timed. HPDE groups 1, 2, 3 & 4 will not be timed so please do not rent a Transponder.
If you registered On-Line, you DO NOT need to go to Driver Info at the track.
Mandatory Driver's Meeting, see the Event Schedule for the time.
You will be given Group Specific wristbands by your group leader at this time.

What to do when you get to the track:

1-Arrive as early as possible.
2-Find a paddock spot (See Paddock Map)
3-Clean out all loose items from your car
4-Go to Tech with Helmet, Tech Form and Car.
5-Driver Meeting (Check Schedule)

Race Drivers:
Register on-line with ALL your information, especially your transponder number. If you registered and still need to send info, sent it to: Registrar and we will update you in the computer. Take care of any transponder issues now! A $25 fee will be assessed at the track for changes. If you are unsure of your registration, please see the reg-list posted above.

Mandatory Race Driver's Meeting - see event schedule. (Normally held during lunch)

All Race cars must have a current log book and Annual Tech Sticker to get on track.

I HAVE AN ANNUAL: Take the car's completed Annual Self-Tech form (Completed by driver/owner), Signed Log Book and Annual Tech Inspector's Tech Form to the Chief of Tech at your first event of the year. He will issue your Annual Tech Sticker. This Sticker is to be affixed to the Lowest part of the Driver's Side Windshield or on top of the main hoop for open wheel cars. (No other location is permitted)

I DO NOT HAVE AN ANNUAL: NASA is happy to perform the annual at the track, but due to the limited time in the morning, it is likely that some track time will be missed. An Annual inspection can take up to one hour for a new car. We highly recommend that you use one of the Tech Shops to get your annual completed prior to coming to the track.

At track Annual Tech process:

1-Bring a completed Annual Race Car tech form, Race car, Rae Car logbook (If you have one) to NASA Tech.
2-An NASA tech will perform the Annual and Complete an Annual Inspectors Tech Form.
3-NASA will affix the Annual Tech Sticker to the Lower Left area on your Windshield or on top of the main roll bar hoop for open top cars without a windshield.
4-The Annual inspection and sticker is valid for the entire season.

Transponders:
Owned:
Be sure your transponder number is correct in your user profile on NASAProRacing.com. By doing this, you ensure timing and scoring have the correct number when you register. If you need to change or give your number after registering, send it to the Registrar and we will update in the computer. Take care of any transponder issues now! A $25 fee will be accessed at the track for changes. Check the results after your first timed session to be sure you are being scored.

Rented: - Time Trials - Racers ONLY
You can rent a transponder from NASA. Please rent one On-Line before the event as we only have a few. If you have rented one on-line, you can pick it up at Driver info.
2-day rental is $50 and 3-day rental is $75.
